details

Fashion in the 1950s was known for its dramatically fun, flared skirts and voluminous dresses, and stylish ladies of that time achieved this swinging effect by pairing their polka dot dresses with matching crinoline petticoats. Unique Vintage offers authentic options like this white tea length crinoline petticoat to help you get the very same look, darling, but ours have a few modern updates to keep them perfectly current and undeniably comfortable. This white petticoat is made of a stiff, sturdy crinoline that will give your skirt an attractive bell shape, and it even offers a bit of extra movement while you walk. Matching ribbon bindings separate each tier of fabric, and there are multiple layers of material so that it never falls flat. The elastic waistband of this white petticoat also fits most women, so you’ll feel loose and comfortable even while adding extra lift to your retro ensemble!

This petticoat is so cute and give EXCELLENT volume to the 1950s June floral dress I just purchased. It fits well and I like that the waistband stays put. i average about a size 8, or 29/30inches in jeans for those of you who are wondering if the petticoat will fit you okay. The petticoat isn't tight, but it isn't loose either :)

I was supper excited to purchase this petticoat. I have been waiting to get one for a long time. I finally got the opportunity to order this one. I received it about a week and a half after I ordered. Not terrible but don't order on short notice. I was hoping that it would be of good quality material and make at the price it is. The waist band and first tier are of a cheap, thin polyester mix. On top of that there is no lining under the netting, I had to wear leggings under so it wouldn't scratch my legs up and so I could sit down in it. The waist was a little lose and it sat very low on my waist closer to my hips. Though I think that is because of the one size fits all. When I received it it was packaged in an air tight, compressed bag that was then in a box. I let it air out and fluff up over night. The next day it still had wrinkles in it and was not distributed evenly under the skirt I had it under. I had to constantly fix it through out the day and I ended up taking it off because it was causing a lot of hassle. I remind you I am not one to complain about an outfit that takes time. Over all it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing.

It was perfect! Definitely full enough. This is my second petticoat, so I knew I'd be satisfied anyway!
