Fit

I am a pin up photographer and just had a semi-casual, Pin up Picnic themed wedding. This is the dress I wore to walk down the aisle and it was simple perfection. The fit is amazingly flattering, the length generous and the bodice is beautiful. I spiced it up with a sash across the waist. A full pettiskirt underneath is definitely a must (I spent more on my petti than this dress but it was so worth it) My flower girl wore the tiny version which was absolutely darling.

I love the look and fit of the dress. The color is definitely not as yellow as the main picture. You would think they would reshoot the photo to be an accurate representation. This will be my wedding dress and it is perfect in so many ways. However, the zipper is horrible. From the start it was sticking and didn't want to zip up. This is not due to the dress not fitting. The dress (once I got the zipper to work) fits perfectly. The second time I went to try it on the zipper completely busted! It was difficult for my friend to zip up and once zipped up the entire zipper split. This is not a self-healing zipper (common in most clothing). The carriage was stuck at the top of the dress and would not move. Luckily there are the stretchy sides to the dress because the only way to take it off was with the zipper still stuck. The one thing I am happy about is that this happened before the wedding day. Luckily I have a friend with a professional seamstress in the family. She will rip out the defective zipper and replace it with a higher quality one. The original on this is a large clunky metal zipper. It is not ivory or white and doesn't blend with the dress. As others have said it does arrive extremely wrinkled and you will have to steam it before wearing.

i ordered this dress going by the pictures of the model in the white dress hoping that it was not the tan color of the first model. It is definitly a white color so i was happy about that when i received it. it is a pretty dress and i am excited to wear it. it is cotton so it is more of a casual dress. i am wearing it to my wedding reception with the pink crenoline slip underneath.

Gorgeous dress! I bought it to wear for my outdoor August wedding, and it's light and crisp and will be just perfect. It is a little whiter than the picture on the model shows, but it's still a pretty light ivory, almost an almond color. I think it'll definitely need a crinoline slip underneath it... now I just have decide which color! :) It was super-wrinkled when it arrived, but that's nothing a steamer can't fix. Can't wait to wear it!

I had contracted someone on Etsy to make a wedding dress for me. I had seen this one and I figured I wouldn't want cotton for my wedding dress. Well, after much frustration and the dressmaker not getting back to me I drove to LA with one of my bridesmaids and luckily they had one in stock in my size. I cannot tell you how awesome the dress is. Everyone at the wedding made such great comments on it and the pictures turned out fantastic. I was able to use all of my other items purchased for the outfit with it including the custom bolero. I highly recommend this dress for any occasion and I am thrilled I will be able to wear it again for a less dressy affair. In the end an $88 dress beat out a $400 dress.
